
Dr. Kadir Dogruer
Co-Founder- Description Dr. Kadir Dogruer was born in Samsun in 1962. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education, he graduated from Istanbul University (IU) Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 1985. In 1994, he completed his Anesthesiology and Reanimation specialty training at IU Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He served as the intensive care director and coordinator at the Alman Hospitals Group, Memorial Hospitals, Medikalpark Hospitals, and Eurasia Hospitals. He pioneered the implementation of many innovations in intensive care in our country. He participated in both national and international scientific studies on sepsis, ARDS, MOF, and extracorporeal treatments. He contributed to the development of innovative advanced life support systems. He founded and chaired the Extracorporeal Life Support Systems Association. He developed a "useful model" by conducting a study to increase the efficiency of the forceps used in tracheostomy applications and obtained international certification. He led the team that realized the first intensive care automation in Turkey. He produced innovative "know-how" for the development of different algorithms in intensive care automation. He was one of the doctors who started home care services in Turkey. He created many algorithms related to home care processes. He currently serves as a medical consultant for a team providing home care services. He carried out critical patient transfers by scheduled intercity, international, and intercontinental flights or ambulance planes for many years. In 2022, he realized the transfer of a critical patient between the two farthest points with ECMO in the world. He continues to provide these services with his team, who has significant experience. During the pandemic process, Dr. Dogruer, who realized the shortcomings of classical medical education, focused intensively on increasing his equipment in this field, considering that functional & holistic medicine approach is much more effective in solving individual health problems in treatment and health service delivery. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Intensive Care Society, Algology Association, Extracorporeal Life Support Systems Association, IFM (Institude of Functional Medicine, USA), and Cartoonists Association. Dr. Kadir Dogruer, who is also a cartoonist, has opened 14 personal cartoon exhibitions and published three cartoon albums, as well as having multiple awards. His latest exhibition is the "60 Years 60 Cartoons" themed cartoon exhibition he opened at Schneidertempel Art Center in December 2022. Dr. Dogruer is also a co-founder of Healthtrack Clinic.
